3.5 ETCP Credits $295 ($395 after 9/15)  Class limit: 12  Resolume Avenue is an instrument for VJs, AV performers, and video artists. This class will cover the basic use of Resolume as a media server, LED, and DMX fixture mapping, video mapping, FFT audio analysis to make video clips and effects dance to the beat and controlling the software using midi and DMX, and how to create generative visuals in Resolume. Participants must bring a PC or Mac laptop with Resolume Arena software installed, the fully-functional demo version of the software can be downloaded for free from their website: Resolume.com. Participants should also bring a USB midi controller with faders and/or knobs, such as the Korg nanoKONTROL2. Session Highlights: 1. Overview of Resolume Avenue & Arena 2. Overview of software interface 3. How to ensure smooth playback in Resolume 4. Overview of sources in Resolume 5. Creating generative visuals in Resolume 6.
