C11• How To Break Down A Dance Saturday, 10/22 Practical advice on the process of analyzing and notating a dance piece for design purposes: In this session, two excellent and experienced lighting designers share their approaches to new works and classical pieces. Questions to be discussed include the role of music in the process, movement and the architecture of space, the role of the companies aesthetic, choreographers input in the technical decisions, title and theme.
