9 ETCP credits $425 ($525 after 9/15) Class Limit: 40 This one-day USITT Electrical Workshop- an ETCP Recognized Training Program- includes a strong foundation in the National Electrical Code (r) and NFPA 70E- Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace (r), a brief review of the hazards of shock, fundamentals of electricity and electrical load calculations, followed by rules of grounding and bonding. also included will be discussion of equipment for portable systems and cable selection and sizing, voltage drop, and tap rules. Target Audience: Anyone in the entertainment industry who works with electricity. Material is basic to intermediate-level (not entry level) for stage electricians (audio and lighting).
