Moving Light Programmer
Alex’s passion for theatre started at a very early age. Growing up, Alex was lucky to have the opportunity to work on numerous productions in the New York City area, and went on to earn his B.F.A. in lighting design at North Carolina School of the Arts. Since then, Alex has been working professionally as a Designer and Moving Light Programmer on musicals, plays, concerts, television, live events and architectural installations. Alex has worked with such designers as Kevin Adams, Ken Billington, Jeff Croiter, Don Holder, Natasha Katz, Ken Posner, Philip Rosenberg, Ben Stanton and Justin Townsend. Some recent productions he has worked on include The Broadway revival of Cats, American Psycho, School of Rock, Fun Home, A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love and Murder, Up Here, Moonshine, Kinky Boots, Mystery of Edwin Drood, A Night With Janis Joplin, Smash, Newsies, War Horse, Scottsboro Boys, La Cage Aux Folles, South Pacific, and numerous Encores! Productions.
