Robert Fejer
Head of Rigging - The Beatles LOVE
Originally from the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in Southern California, Robert Fejer secured his first professional gig in 1987 as an electrician with the Ice Capades ice show; it was during this time he became acquainted with rigging and found he was naturally drawn to the responsibility and excitement that goes with the job.
It was also during this time He was introduced to Flying by Foy and although he was too new to actually fly the performers, he was involved with inspections and maintenance of the flying equipment.
After leaving the ice show, he moved to Lake Tahoe, Nevada and worked as a technician at the Horizon Resort and casino, also taking calls for Local #363 and working as a Ski Instructor at Heavenly Valley. In 1990 attended the very first “Masters Class in Stage Rigging” in Phoenix, AZ. and the following year attended “Masters Class #2” in Las Vegas. During this class, while touring the Foy Shop, he had a conversation with Garry Foy and offering him his resume, secured a position as a flying director with Foy Inventerprises.
During his time with Foy he also worked as an on-call for Siegfried and Roy at The Mirage. And in 2003 was offered a job as Install Rigger for Cirque du Soleil’s production of “KA”, where he remained until 2006 when he was promoted to assistant head of rigging for the Beatles LOVE. In 2011 he was promoted to head of rigging and has remained there ever since.
