
Sergio Villegas
Sergio Villegas has created designs for over 60 productions, ranging from small experimental projects to large-scale mass spectacles. He completed an M.F.A. in scenic design at the Yale School of Drama in 2004 and quickly moved to his native Mexico City. There, he designs sets, lights and costumes for productions in Mexico, the USA and Spain. He was the curator of the Mexican national pavilion at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space for 2011. His dog’s name is Figaro.
