Bill Ellis
President
Bill Ellis began his career while earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Lighting and Audio from the North Carolina School of the Arts. He is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America and sits on its Theatre, Television and Film Advisory Committee. A leader in systems integration, Mr. Ellis is also a Florida Certified Low Voltage Systems Specialty Contractor.
During his more than fifteen years of theatre production, project management and engineering experience, there is a diverse list of venues that Mr. Ellis has worked in. To his credit, he has extensive Theatrical and Themed Environment credits and touring experience. Notable projects include, SkyChurch and Artist’s Journey at Experience Music Project, Seattle, WA; First Presbyterian Church, Orlando, FL; Systems Engineer and Project Manager for numerous facilities for SEGA Gameworks LLC; Terminator 2-3D for Universal Studios Florida; General Motors Reveals Theatre at General Motors Test Track, EPCOT Center, FL; DisneyFest Show Tent for Walt Disney Co.; CityJazz Club for Citywalk at Universal Studios Experience; Rock Church, Virginia Beach, VA; GE Booth @ Innoventions, EPCOT Center, FL; and Walt Disney’s World On Ice, Mickey’s Diamond Jubilee.
Mr. Ellis has served on several panels for Lighting Dimensions International since 1996 as well as Inspiration 98.
Business credits include positions of Master Electrician, Walt Disney’s World On Ice; Systems Engineer BASH Lighting Services South; Systems Integrator VANCO Lighting Services; and is currently Vice President Engineering Candela Controls, Inc.
He resides in Orlando, Florida with his wife and two daughters.
