Lisa brings over 20 years of design experience to her projects. In her dual role as one of the Principal Designers and CEO of Visual Terrain, Inc., she balances both creative and business challenges, focusing on lighting design for architecture, attractions and the arts.
Visual Terrain’s projects can be seen on six continents… Next stop: Antarctica!
Recent projects include: the historic re-creation of the Capitol Theater in Fort Edmonton Park, Edmonton Alberta, Canada; a new project for Dollywood Theme Park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; the Fort Worth Air and Space Museum’s new exhibit Ascent…When Dreams Defy Gravity; Women & Spirit: Catholic Sisters in America national traveling exhibit; and The House of Blues in Hollywood, California.
Past projects include: Choctaw Casino Durant; King Kong 360° 3D attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood; Beyond All Boundaries 4D cinematic experience at the National World War II Museum; and the development and management of park-wide lighting and control systems and standards for Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Dubailand.
Lisa’s work has been recognized with numerous Lumen West Awards of Merit, Lumen West Awards of Excellence, a Light for Living Award, IIDA Awards of Excellence, and THEA Awards for Outstanding Achievement.
Currently an associate member of the IALD and member of the IESNA, Lisa has previously served on the Board of Managers with the LA Section of the IESNA and the International Board of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).
Educated in theatrical lighting design at San Diego State University, Lisa began her career at Walt Disney Imagineering, creating lighting for themed environments. In 1995, she founded Passamonte Lighting Design, Inc., which in 2001 merged with Moody Ravitz Hollingsworth Lighting Design, Inc. to create Visual Terrain.
In 2011, Lisa became the co-owner of Visual Terrain with her husband, David Green.
