Kim Scott serves as the Company Manager for two Cirque du Soleil productions in the Resident Shows Division Las Vegas, Nevada. Currently she is responsible for all aspects of operations for the productions CRISS ANGEL BeLIEve™ and The Beatles LOVE™. She oversees more than 300 cast, crew and staff members who operate these productions daily. She works with the marketing, sales, public relations, health and safety, technical and show support departments to maximize the support of the shows. Kim also manages the relationship with MGM Resorts International support teams to ensure a successful and collaborative partnership between the two organizations. Kim has been with Cirque du Soleil for more than nine years serving as the Training Manager, Director of Show Support and Company Manager. Prior to being appointed as Company Manager, she served as Director of Show Support for the Resident Division; she was responsible for the conception and execution of the Educational Cooperative Program (ECP). This program is between Cirque du Soleil and key universities around the world. The ECP makes it possible for Cirque operational experts to provide instruction and mentorship for entertainment technology and theatre program professors and students. Kim is a founder of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology (USITT) Elite Training Program, a collaborative effort between USITT, Cirque du Soleil and their technical partners to provide students with an opportunity for hands on training with the technology used on current Cirque productions. Kim serves on the USITT Board of Directors and on the academic advisory boards of the University of Nevada Las Vegas, St. Clair College, the Academy of Art University and Chapman University. She is also proud to serve on the advisory boards for Las Vegas Center for Circus and the Performing Arts and Cure 4 the Kids Foundation Children's Specialty Center of Nevada. Kim holds a M.F.A in Dance from the University of California-Irvine.
