A New York City-based lighting designer and programmer, Zak is the lighting director for Jazz at Lincoln Center, and for Arc3 Design. Between the two, Zak lights an average of over 75 concerts, special and private events, and other special projects a year. Although Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall is his home-base, his work also spans a variety of venues, from Madison Square Garden (programming for NY Knicks, Rangers, and Liberty) to the White House; World Trade Center to Holland America Cruise Lines; tents and piers and anywhere in between.
